JackTags GovCon ("we") helps small businesses find and evaluate federal contract opportunities. This explains what we collect, why, and who we share it with.

What we collect

Account info: your name, phone number, and email address, given when you sign up.
How you use the product: your searches, the solicitations you open or unlock, items you save, and your submission checklists.
Files you upload: quotes or documents you choose to upload so we can compare them to a solicitation.
Payment info: handled entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your card number.

We use AI

This product uses artificial intelligence. Solicitation text, and the questions you type into the bid chat, are sent to Anthropic (Claude) to produce summaries, checklists, and answers. AI output can be wrong or incomplete. Always verify against the actual solicitation before you bid. We do not use your data to train AI models.

Third parties we share data with

We only share what each service needs to do its job:

Anthropic — AI processing of solicitation text and your chat questions
Stripe — payments and subscription billing
Twilio — sign-in codes and text messages
Resend — transactional email
Supabase — database and file storage
Vercel — hosting
SAM.gov — the public source of the solicitations themselves

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with advertisers.

Text messages

If you give us your phone number we may text you about your account, including a welcome message and replies to you. Reply STOP at any time to stop receiving texts. Message and data rates may apply.

How long we keep things

Account data stays until you ask us to delete it. Uploaded files are kept so you can revisit your work, and are deleted on request. Cached solicitation summaries may be retained since they come from public government records.

Deleting your data

You can request deletion from inside your account menu, or email terence@jacktags.com. We will delete your account, searches, saved items, and uploads. Records we are required to keep for tax or payment purposes stay with Stripe under their retention rules.

Security

Uploaded files are stored in a private bucket, not publicly accessible. Access is limited to what the product needs to function.

Children

This is a business product and is not directed at anyone under 18.
